Jake Kelza is the chaotic good behind Made in YQG, a passion project focused on uplifting the local community through creative and unconventional grassroots efforts.
His bold, outside-the-box approach to tackling challenges has sparked conversation and inspired action across Windsor-Essex.
Josie Eysia

Josie Elysia is a multifaceted creative and educator, blending her passions for performance, content creation, and teaching.
A classically trained singer, musician and college instructor, she’s equally at home on stage as she is in the classroom, empowering learners of all ages.

Our Story
Support YQG began with an unexpected connection between the classroom and the community.
Josie, an educator at St. Clair College, was exploring creative local marketing strategies with her students. She created a lesson about local collaborations with a focus on Jake’s unconventional approach.
After hearing from a student that her class was studying his “Made in YQG” content series, Jake reached out and what started as a guest lecture quickly evolved into something more.
Jake visited Josie’s classroom to share his unfiltered journey into becoming a community-focused creator. He broke down how he leveraged storytelling, social media, and strategic partnerships to support local businesses without a formal background – just passion, persistence and purpose.
Recognizing how well their skills and visions aligned, Josie and Jake began collaborating on small-scale community initiatives, testing out new ideas and involving students in real-world projects. Their partnership naturally evolved into something bigger: Support YQG.
Today, Support YQG is helping local businesses thrive while bringing the community together through fun, creative, and accessible outreach initiatives.
By blending grassroots creativity with academic insight, we create low-barrier, high-impact opportunities that energize Windsor-Essex – from spontaneous pop-ups and collaborations to hands-on mentorship experiences for students and emerging creators.
Our work isn’t just about promotion – it’s about connection. Whether it’s helping a small business get noticed, offering a student their first taste of real-world media work, or simply making someone’s day a little more joyful, we believe in the power of showing up for each other.
